Ponds Forge International Sports Centre

Ponds Forge International Sports Centre played an important role in the history of the Sheffield Sharks. Initially serving as an alternative venue during the club's early years at the Sheffield Arena, it became the team's primary home in the early 2000s, hosting many memorable moments and successful seasons. Located in the heart of Sheffield city centre, the venue helped strengthen the club's connection to the city and its community, truly embodying the Sharks' identity as Sheffield's professional basketball team. The Sharks returned to Ponds Forge in 2019, where they remained until the opening of the Canon Medical Arena in 2023, marking the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for professional basketball in Sheffield.
